DAM...

The Denver Art Museum never fails to inspire.
Detail of Andy Warhol piece.
Mike and Addy were along for the ride.
 The Hamilton Building.
 The red, the blue.
I didn't like this at first.  But it's so big.  So many details.  Who are the little people?  Who are the large ones?
 Detail.
 For scale.
Look at index card on right for scale.
A whole room of roads, veins.
 The nucleus in a nook.

Brightest side...

Thursday night was a great one.  I went to the Bank of the West Christmas party at Texas Roadhouse.  Ate more food than I had in the past month and had some delicious margs with wonderful coworkers.  I was completely ready to pass out from the food coma but Spencer called and said I NEEDED to get to the Skylark.  He insisted.  I was worried about him at first because I've never heard him so desperate and insistent.  But then he said I'd be so happy.  And I'd be jumping up and down and crying.  What could possibly make ME jump up and down and cry??  Too obvious Spencer!  EVA WAS AT THE SKYLARK.  My long lost bff who'd been in Sweden, India and Thailand for too many months was back in the USA.  IS back in the USA.  For three months...Game on.
Outfit.  Another shrunken Jeremiah sweater.  Nine West boots.
 Texas Roadhouse.
 Oh. So. Happy.
Lovely scarf and earrings Eva brought back for me.

Welp...

Welp, today sucked for the most part.  Stayed up late making Jeremiah graduation card, couldn't sleep after, felt sick, woke up with only 10 minutes to get ready, sat through grueling three hour ceremony, got in GIANT fight with Jeremiah immediately following.  Really. Great. Stuff.  On the upside, I spent some quality time with Jeremiah's parents whom I love very much.  Also went to HBurger which is always a treat and napped all afternoon, thank goodness.  Now listening to Roger, Roll who has their last show tonight at the HiDive.
I'm very proud of Jeremiah for graduating because when I met him he had no ambition to do so.  Now he's prepping for grad school, owns a house which he is fixing up all by himself, is starting a brand spanking new band, and is planning a million books to write in his head.  Despite the shitty day on my end, I'm quite happy with today's results.

I forgot...

So, I forgot to tell you that Jeremiah had his first salon experience when we got our haircuts and it was quite entertaining to see. He has always had his mom cut it or just hacked away at it himself. J is graduating cum laude with an English degree on Saturday, so he needed some fresh new hurr. He was all surprised when the lady went to shampoo his head and even bought some "product" in the end. Great fun. Pics soon from cutting up our cow and the dream vaca in Estes Park. CYA.
