Update...

So, I didn't do a great job of blogging in November... It's obviously been a busy time for me but I'll make a point to do better in December. Not that anyone but my mom and Eva care... but still!!!! Here's a somewhat brief update on all that's been hap'nan in the past monthish:

Jobs: I started a new job three weeks ago at Bank of the West as a CSR; otherwise known as a teller. It's been quite stimulating considering all the new bankin' ish I've been learning. My brain has felt like mashed potatoes while working retail and not being in school--so, processing relevant information has been a welcome change!! A lot of what I've been doing has been based around selling which is another aspect that keeps me motivated and challenged. Fabulous. I'm still in the shoe business for now. That discount is a little too sweet to walk away from at the moment. Moving right along...

Boys: There have been various developments as far as dudes go since I've been in Colorado (Denver IS in fact Menver)... BUT the latest and greatest has been with my roommate Jeremiah. We started seeing each other seriously about a month ago despite everyone (including us) thinking it wasn't the wisest choice. I'm pretty young and definitely wasn't expecting a live-in boyfriend until the age of 30ish--I'm quickly learning that life doesn't always go as planned!

Family: I was excited to see my brother Mike for Thanksgiving in Colorado, however brief. I've been quite homesick lately and I really can't wait for an Iowa Christmas. Westy is planning on moving to Colorado after graduating high school and I'll be totally elated if that falls into place. I'm not quite sure what Mike will be up to after college this year--he's very independent so I could see him roaming around everywhere for a time. Both brothers are still totally immersed in climbing and it will only benefit my climbing frequency by having them closer:)

Friends: I've felt pretty detached from good friends lately. The combination of being so busy and not making it home for thanksgiving has bummed my out quite a lot but I know things will get easier come the end of this month. Most recently I hung out with Eva and bought us "Team Edward/Team Jacob" shirts for Christmas. We went to Twilight with Spencer/Morgan a couple weeks ago and Spencer almost died. Poor thing! Eva and I say yes to man-candy no matter how awful the movie so it was quite fun:)

Anyway. This is getting to be a bit long so I'll wrap it up. More posts about climbing, thanksgiving, parties, shows, and my new Christmas shoes to come.... !!!!!!!!
