Spaying heifers...

Tomorrow's going to be a long day of spaying 160 heifers at the ranch. Heifers are cows. I don't know what my job will be yet but I've been told I'll be covered in cow shit no matter what!! Man, I can't wait! I suppose I shouldn't say that until I get in the thick of things but I think it'll be fun. I'll let you know how I feel about the process when we are done spaying on Thursday. This week will be a busy one; working on the ranch and helping Jeremiah moved into the new house. He's been living at our current apartment for four years so the amount of Stuff accumulated is outrageous.

Today was nice because Jeremiah and Marky-Mark finished the hardwood and set up the cabinets in the kitchen which look totally fabulous. After that J and I went to Habitat for Humanity and found the most fantastic light fixtures for the kitchen and dining room. I'm so very excited to move into our own place. We just need to finish the electric, the hardwood, heating, plumbing, countertops, paint, and a lot of other stuff. But! as long as progress is made and I can move in by September I'll be happy. More updates soon.
