Home. Sweet. Home.

Ah, to be home! it has been a crazy few days...

My dad and I arrived on Thursday and moved all my stuff and bought a new bed. We also met up with my brother, Mike, as he has been camping and staying around Colorado for the past few weeks. After my Dad left that afternoon, Mike and I celebrated the move with some Colorado brews and a climbing video. I love being around someone so psyched to climb and share the fun with all levels of climbers. When Mike finishes school, he plans to be some kind of guide for climbers or hikers and I know he's sooo ready for that.

Sunset on the way in to Colorado.
This was after I cleaned the room.

The next day, Mike and I went to get some breakfast burritos and groceries at Safeway. I love being in a new city because something as mundane as grocery shopping turns into an epic adventure. I've already gotten used to being totally lost all the time! After Safeway, we went to REI<3 and Wilderness Exchange<3 to find some climbing shoes for meeeee. I'll post a pic when they arrive. style="TEXT-ALIGN: center">Mmmm...burrrriittoooo.
Friday afternoon, Mike and I went over to new friend Spencer's place to meet up with the gang and go to an artsfest type thang. On the first friday of every month, all the art galleries in the Santa Fe art district are freee and open for viewing. We specifically went to see this guy, Adam's, art--he also used to live where I live meow. That night was pretty raucous--rock and roll and lots of PBR and wine. It was great to see all the people I met a couple weeks ago and introduce them to Mike.
At Spencer's.
I especially liked adam's cityscapes.
Messing around with some gun thing...
Rock and Roll. This happens frequently because most of the people I know here are musicians.
Someday!!
Brahtha.
The next day was quite rough, as you can imagine. The greatest accomplishment was talking to my best friend from high school, Lynde, for a couple hours. We hadn't talked in a long time and the epic convo was waaayyy overdue. Although the day was pretty unproductive, the night was another great one! Jeremiah had two visitors, making a stop in Denver as they travel across America. One was Brazilian and the other Scottish so I loved listening to their accents--it was also nice not being the only girl! A bunch of the fellas came over as well. We kept it mellow, ordering a pizza and playing dominoes far longer than anyone should on a Saturday night. Either way, it was quite a delight.

For today, I've been invited to a wedding, as Mr. Spencer's date, and don't really know what else is going on in the evening. Monday and Tuesday will be spent camping and climbing in Shelf Road with Mike and his girlfriend Hannah. CAN'T WAIT!

More updates soon--I'm hoping that this time next week, I'll be EMPLOYED!!
