This weekend.

Last weekend was pretty fun, folks. Friday was spent with Jeremiah. I can't remember what we did. Saturday I drove down to the ranch by myself to be fitted for a bridesmaid dress and work with the horses.

Samantha was a bit sassy. Horses don't like wind, and I think she gets a bit apprehensive when extra people besides Jeff are around. Jeff is Jeremiah's dad and he's really great, super supportive, a real cowboy, amazing with the horses--I pretty much want to be just like him when I grow up. We went riding and tied Samantha to her mother, Paint. I was riding Sherman, as usual and Jeff taught me how to gallop--not that there's much to learn--stand up, hold on to the pommel, keep the reigns closer to the horses head, and in my case, hope to the high heavens I wouldn't fall off. I was probably more scared than I've ever been in my ENTIRE LIFE!!! More scared than any of the climbing stuff I've done put together. Things weren't exactly out of control, the movement was what it was supposed to be, I think I just doubt myself so much as a rider. Regardless, it was a rush. I'm scared too that no matter how well horses are trained, they will always have freewill, and I've seen A LOT of crazy horse shenanigans at the ranch lately.

After the ranch, I came back to Denver to see an amazing show at the Hi Dive. Houses+Achille Lauro did not disappoint and I got to see some good frands: Spence, Eva, Tommy, Mark, etc. Pictures will be available for viewing soon as there were some sweet-ass outfits present.

Sunday was pretty great too as we didn't do a damn thing. Chillaxed. I've started the process of petitioning for residency which is really exciting. I was scared at first I wouldn't be able to gain residency in time for fall semester but I think the process may be easier than I'd anticipated. I'll keep you posted.

Jeremiah, Chris, Dan and I are going to a wedding in Ohio this weekend. J's the best man, Chris and Dan are groomsmen and I'm a bridesmaid. I'm so very very excited to get away for the weekend because I've taken on more hours at the bank to cover another employee. And plus, weddings are always a blasty! J's cousin is getting married the weekend after and then the week after is the KENTUCKY DERBY!!!! This April might be my favorite month ever.

I'm so tired I can't function, much less write. Talk to you soon, frands.
