YEAH! ART! I LOVE THAT STUFF!
Hi! I've had a really wonderful day so far, took some pictures and thought I'd share. I went to the art museum this morning with Eva and Guido and it was so perfect and inspiring. Today was one of the last days of this amazing exhibit "Embrace!" and I was thoroughly impressed to say the least! Here are some pictures/descriptions.
One of the things I love most about the D.A.M. is the incredible space. The Embrace! exhibit is in the newer Hamilton wing of the museum which has so many vast, open areas with crazy slanted walls. This room is full of masking techniques with a lot of the tape left on the walls. Lots of craziness and color.
Light! Space! Color!
This might be my favorite part of the museum. Eva blogged about the installation a while ago so I knew I had to see it. Today we discovered the red fox amongst the greys!

Some of the stairway looking down.
Each Embrace! installation is so unique and different but all very contemporary and innovative.
These roads remind me of veins.
Interactive art. Guido contributed too.
One of my favorite areas. Do you see what I mean with the space???
Just incredible, look at that shadow!

This is tucked away in a corner and Guido got really upset as we got closer because he's seen the installation and really doesn't like it. He's so cute. The kid's face IS quite disturbing, so I can see where Guido's coming from.
This is a different section of the museum. My favorite chair. How great would that be for napping??
