KENTUCKY DERBY!!!!!!!!!!!!! pt. 2

Correction: by Philly I mean Filly. Jeez, thank you Wiki.

I didn't get as many pictures the day of the derby because it was raining like absolute mad the whole time. Wasn't much in the mood for picture taking. A lot of people spent the majority of the day inside which to me would be such a waste. I sat in the rain in my raincoat, poncho, hot-mess hair and hat the whole day; determined to experience the Derby day in all its Glory! The only time the sun came out all day was during the Kentucky Derby and that's when the stands were completely full.

I like these pictures because Russ looks somewhat normal;)

Me, Russ, and Kathy. Ray and Kathy treated me like I was part of their family. The whole stay was incredible.

The track was incredibly sloppy and obviously soaked. I was scared for the horses.

Russ's mom gave me this sweet green rain jacket. Pictures of crowd before the big race.

All the horses before the race. The race horses are tied to another horse that leads them/makes sure they don't get out of control before the race.

AND THEY'RE OFF!!!!
