Boy, do I have a story for you!!! BUT before I tell you about Jeremiah getting kicked by a horse, here are some older pictures from the ranch.
J's parents are so sweet, a couple weeks after my bday, they surprised me with a cake!

Jeremiah taking his nephew, Eli, for a ride on Jennifer.
Paint, Eli, Jeremiah, Debbie, Cailyn.

J's parents, nephew, neice, and Jennifer.

Playing with Jeremiah's old toys.

Eli is so funny.

Jeremiah and his dad are breaking this horse, Samantha. "Breaking" horses is getting them prepared to be saddled, ridden, and reliable. It's easy to forget how much work it takes to get a horse ready to ride but Jeff has been working with Samantha since she was born to get her ready for NOW! At this point, Sam is used to human contact, being caught, the blanket, saddle, and running in circles based on comands.

Running in circles gets her used to going a certain direction based on the tilt of her head, among other things.

Samantha has learned that a clicking of the tongue means go and "Whoa" means stop.

She's such a goof, very spunky and unafraid. I'm quite sweet on Sam.

I look legitimately challenged in this picture BUT! it was the first time I took Sherman out by myself so the moment had to be documented. Contrary to what I'm doing here, you always hold the reigns with your left hand so you can do other stuff with your right. Like shoot a gun!

This was the week before Easter so egg coloring was in order.

Cailyn, Eli and J's sister, Jaime.

Some of the finished product.

Trying to look tough.

B'frand.

Previously written: I've been going to the ranch a lot lately and I couldn't be happier. I really love it there. If I had the choice, I'd quit my job, move to Larkspur, and learn how to be a real cowgirl/ranch-hand. BUT! Until then, I'll stick with my current life working 25 hrs/week at the bank and getting ready to move into the new house.
