...: Whack...

Dude, weather in Denver is sooooo whack. Yesterday was absolutely beautiful, the best weather I've seen in months--I lied out on the new deck, getting the perfect hint of sunburn. Today it started raining midday and is now set to snow 17 inches. Talk about fickle! I had to steel an umbrella from work just to walk to my car!

In other news, I officially got time off to go to the KENTUCKY DERBY!!!!!!!!! I'm so excited! My friend Russ's parents live in Louisville and pretty much hooked us up for that weekend. As you know, I'm obsessed with horses so the vaca will be extra extra extra special.

Jeremiah and I went to Glenwood Springs, a mountain town, for Valentine's weekend.

The weather was awful driving up.

J is obsessed with old gunfighters/cowboys etc. So, we decided to hang with Doc Holliday for a bit.

Ha, the weather was nice when we got there.

The day we left we had a spa treatment where they painted mud all over us and wrapped us up in foil like a burrito!! It was awesome. We also spent some time in the vapor caves where the heat coming from the ground was palpable. The air was literally thick with heat.
